The I-Ching biorhythms consist of the four soul-centred cycles of Compassion, Self-Awareness, Aesthetic, and Spiritual rhythms. They are considered secondary to the Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual cycles because of their less tangible nature, and have longer lengths of 38, 43, 48, and 53 days, respectively.
Influences the quality of your intuition, psychic perception, and sixth sense. Since it has a subtle influence, it is of greater value to those people who are sensitive to it, and involved in psychic, intuitive, and healing activities. Sometimes called the intuition cycle in the West.
Describes the ability to perceive and be aware of your personality and individuality, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. Acts as an aid to overcome self-deception and illusions, to help you to become conscious of your inner self and to create a more satisfying life journey.
Colours your aesthetic taste, judgement, feelings, and appreciation of art, beauty, harmony, etc. Handy for people working in creative fields and using their imagination, such as art, writing, and music, as the days can be found when you are most sensitive to your creative ability.
Charts the rhythms of your spiritual life, and the relationship you have to your higher self. Shows those days when you are feeling calm, at peace, and in an elevated state of mind, or when you can have difficulty being centred, quiet, and relaxed. Therefore, this cycle can affect spiritual development and meditation work.
